Introduction to Silver Clay - Full Day 10am - 5pm £89.00
Learn how to create your own piece of jewellery with precious metal clay.
Starting with handling & designing with the clay, texturing, setting a faceted fire-resistant stone, drying & firing, and finishing with polishing your finished item/s.

Techniques include:

*Proper handling of the clay and using basic tools
*Rolling to consistent, repeatable thickness
*Texturing
*Advantages and uses of different kinds of Silver Clay
*Building up layers
*Setting a gem into the silver clay
*Finishing Techniques
* Torch Firing

You go home with the finished silver jewellery that you have created.

Valentine's Workshop - Full Day 10am - 5pm £89.00 (maximum of 4 people)

Special workshop for February 2012 where you can come along and create a valentine's gift for the one you love. Pendant, charms or earrings , or a tie pin (stick pin) for the man in your life. You can even make a fingerprint piece if you prefer (if it is to be of someone else's fingerprint please contact asap for details).

No experience needed and we provide all you need for the day.

Mother's Day Workshop - Full Day 10am - 5pm £89.00 (maximum of 4 people)

Special workshop for March 2012 where you can come along and create a Pendant, charms or earrings for mother's day. You can even make a fingerprint piece if you prefer (if it is to be of someone else's fingerprint please contact asap for details).

No experience needed and we provide all you need for the day.

For those who want to take jewellery making with Precious Metal Clay further. This program is recognized by the PMC Guild International  -
includes incorporating silver wire and other accessories, patina, enamelling, filigree and ring making.

The Diploma course can be undertaken at your own pace - one day a month, two days a month, 4 days a month or other combinations to suit your circumstances.
