Learn how to create your own piece of jewellery with precious metal
clay.
Starting with handling & designing with the clay, texturing, setting a
faceted fire-resistant stone, drying & firing, and finishing with polishing
your finished item/s.
Techniques include:
*Proper handling of the clay and using basic tools
*Rolling to consistent, repeatable thickness
*Texturing
*Advantages and uses of different kinds of PMC
*Building up layers
*Setting a gem into PMC
*Finishing Techniques
* Torch Firing
You go home with the finished silver jewellery that you have created.
Once you have completed the introduction course you and find
that making your own jewellery from silver clay is for you, then why not enrole
on our diploma course to give a more indepth knowledge of using Precious Metal
Clay.

includes incorporating silver wire and other accessories, patina, enamelling,
filigree and ring making.
The Diploma course can be undertaken at your own pace - one day a month, two days a month, 4 days a month or to suit your circumstances.
