WILD DESIGNS JEWELLERY MAKING DIPLOMA COURSE
'This program is recognized by the PMC Guild International'

 

Level 2 - Intermediate (3 days - Level 1 certificate needed)

Workshop 1. . This workshop will entail making a pendant with syringe, plus setting a stone with syringe, and a pair of filigree earrings or beads.
There is the option of doing either filigree earrings or beads - these will be hollowform e.g cork clay or similar centre. Incorporating use of fine silver findings.

Workshop 2 This project will incorporate making a band ring with a 'bezel' setting for a faceted stone from pmc clay. You will also make a second ring using a second style.

Workshop 3. In this workshop you have the option of creating a pendant that incorporates a glass 'dichroic' cabachon, and carving into dry clay.

The projects within this level encompass design techniques, plus:

*Torch and kiln firing
*Modelling with PMC
*Ring Making
*Building up layers
*Making a hollowform
*Using syringe style PMC
*Attaching findings
*Creating your own textures using PMC
* Using Jeweller's Investment
* Incorporating Glass

Attainment : Level 2- Certificate of Achievement

Examples of what can be made.

Each workshop can be booked separately (works out at only £116 per workshop), 50% deposit secures each workshop.
